A round-up of my favorite articles and lists written for this blessed day.
It's International Women's Day/Women's History Month! In honor of this day/month that is super necessary, the internet has been serving up lists and articles about all kinds of women doing all kinds of daring/amazing/brave/necessary/groundbreaking things.1
Like this one I just read about female revolutionaries. Or these 11 feminists on the best lessons they've learned from other women. A big fan of POC-led web series, I especially appreciated this list of black women forging their way in the digital space. Need something inspirational to read? Stuff your nose in one of these 'must-read' biographies about women. If biographies aren't your thing, the people at the Strand bookstore shared a list of female-penned alternatives to well-known books by men. Here are some reasons why more and more women are choosing the freelance life. You can and should watch these fake trailers for "Realistic Female-Driven Film Treatments" posted on Lenny Letter. And why shouldn't I end this messy paragraph full of links with a bumpin' International Women's Day music mix courtesy of Dazed and Confused magazine. You're welcome.

1. [All I've managed to do today is get into a minor minor Facebook argument with a ~male about— what else—feminism.]↩
